
Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Carpenter / Foreman to oversee and lead residential construction projects from start to finish. This hands-on leadership role requires advanced carpentry skills, team management abilities, and a strong understanding of residential building practices. The successful candidate will ensure that jobs are completed safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.
Wage & Compensation
- Hourly Wage: $38.00 – $48.00 per hour (based on experience and certification level)
- Overtime Pay: As per BC Employment Standards
- Performance Reviews: Annual or bi-annual wage review

Responsibilities
- Framing (floors, walls, roofs)
- Siding installation (vinyl, wood, Hardie, etc.)
- Concrete forming for foundations, slabs, and structural elements
Requirements
Preferred Certifications
- Red Seal Carpenter Certification (Preferred but not mandatory)
- Fall Protection Certification (Required)
- WHMIS Certification (Required)
- First Aid – Level 1 or higher (Preferred)
- Skid steer, telehandler, or aerial lift ticket (Asset)
